As long as you mind the aforementioned caveats and totally commit yourself to learning proper, real world japanese, anime can be a helpful tool as opposed to a distraction. why you should learn japanese with anime. really, it ain’t all bad! anime has a lot to offer any budding japanese student.. You can’t learn japanese from anime! everyone says that the language used is different than normal—too informal and too childish, perhaps, or too made-up and imaginative. well, with the right approach, you can learn japanese from anything that hails from japan , including anime!. I've been watching anime for 2 years now, and the only things i've learnt are the odd word. i think watching anime will help if you are allready learning japanese, as it will help you with the pronunciation etc..

Like most of you, the main reason i decided to learn japanese was anime. watching anime has always been a magnificent escape for me. i loved being able to dive into these awesome fantasy worlds.. Best answer: it will be hard because sometimes or most of the time in the anime, the characters will talk low in an extent that you can hardly hear them. if you have the subtitles on and you are reading them, plus you already learned the word in japanese you'll have a good shot at guessing what they're saying..
